Do I have to provide feedback after the meeting?

Scoring peer partners after the meeting is necessary for skill development. For example, you could evaluate the performance of your partner on a scale of 1 (weak) to 5 (strong) according to several criteria, such as:

Personal appearance/professional impression
Languages kill/communication
Problem-solving/analysis
Structuring
Behavior under pressure

Your peer partners would also appreciate it if you took the time to add written comments to your feedback in the free text area. This is optional, but if you choose to do so, please be polite and honest.

How long does the case session last?

The meeting could last 45, 60 or 90 minutes. It could also be a custom time. During the meeting, both you and your peer partner should play the roles of the interviewer and the interviewee.

What happens if my peer partner doesn’t arrive on time?

The meeting can only occur if both partners enter the meeting room. We usually recommend waiting 10 to 15 minutes after the meeting starts. Then, if you’re still the only one in the room, stop the meeting and note in the feedback form that your peer partner did not arrive. As a penalty, our platform will deduct points from your partner’s reliability level.

How does the meeting room work?

The meeting room connects you to your peer partner. During the session, you can communicate via audio and video; share your device’s screen; write text messages; and exchange links and files. The meeting room also has a built-in timer so you can track your time.

How do I prepare for my first case meeting?

Before you accept your first session with a peer partner, review the standard procedure for conducting a case interview. There are plenty of resources available on the internet on this topic, and it’s important to read and prepare at least one case study beforehand. In particular, make sure you understand its specifics, key problems and approaches to solving them.

As soon as the meeting is confirmed, you’ll have access to the meeting room and can enter it 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.

How do I set up a peer-to-peer meeting?

There are two quick ways to schedule a meeting:

1) Leave your request for a peer partner meeting on the meeting board. In this case, you’ll need to add your own proposal to the list. Don’t forget to specify a convenient date and time for your online meeting, as well as any requirements you may have for your partner, such as proficiency in a certain language. Then, all you have to do is wait for someone to accept your meeting proposal.

2) Accept a meeting already proposed by someone else. In this case, you can refer to the list of various meeting offers on the meeting board. Review it carefully, paying close attention to the potential partner’s requirements. Once you find the one you like, accept the invitation to the session.

What are experience levels and badges?

These features are not yet fully available in the beta version of the platform. However, with the launch of the full platform, all users will have access to badges and experience levels.

The experience levels and badges are used for gamification purposes. They are intended to pull you into a game to help you achieve your goals.

There are five experience levels. The more you practice and the more positive feedback you receive, the higher your experience level will be.

There are also nine badges and you must meet certain conditions to earn them. For example, to get a“Winning Run” badge, you must pass five case interviews consecutively with as core of 4.0 points or higher.

How quickly can I access the case interviews platform?

You can access the case interviews platform as soon as you register or purchase a subscription.

How it works

How long can I access the case interviews and how many can I take?

During the beta period, you will receive access to all features of the case interview platform free of charge. Then, once we move from the beta to the full version of the platform, you will have the opportunity to purchase a subscription plan. You will also have full access to the community of case partners for the duration of the subscription plan (two, six or 12 months). The free trial period is seven days.

No, an internet connection is required to access our platform and to practice case interviews.

What’s the best way to prepare for my case interview?

Complete as many practice sessions as you can prior to your assessment date.Additionally, participate in sessions with your peers, experts, and/or former employees to sharpen your skills and master different aspects of the case interview. Essentially, the more you practice, the better your results will be and the more comfortable you will feel on your assessment day.

Spend as much time as possible preparing for your interview. The more practice you get before your assessment, the better prepared you’ll be able to prove yourself on a real case interview – and the more likely that you’ll land the job of your dreams.

I have an invitation from a consulting firm to participate in a case interview. How do I find out what types of questions will be asked?

The assessment process may be slightly different than what is mentioned on the company’s website. As such, it’s worth contacting the company’s Human Resources department to determine what type of assessments they use to interview candidates.

Can I practice tests on a Mac / laptop / smartphone / tablet, etc.?

Definitely: all of our tests have been tested for use with popular browsers, operating systems and various devices, including tablets and smartphones. However, we recommend that practice tests be completed on a desktop computer with a mouse and keyboard, as this experience is most like the real test environment.

No credit card details data are ever stored on our servers. We use payment services like Stripe and PayPal, which are some of the most secure and reputable payment processors in the world.

Will you automatically renew my premium access after it expires?

No. You will only be charged once. We never make any automatic renewals, nor do we store your payment details. If you wish to renew your access, you can do so by signing into your account and choosing the desired subscription duration.
